Darug artist Mandy Draper’s rich artwork was commissioned especially to celebrate the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week. It represents the journey from our ancestors to the next generation, symbolising resilience, cultural continuity, and the strength of community.

The emu and kangaroo footprints represent our future moving forward enduring progress and growth.
The gathering circles represent our guided strength from our Elders in our community, empowering our next generation of future leaders to build our legacy, honouring our resilience and remaining grounded in our cultural pride.

Beautiful and meaningful design
It’s such a beautiful and meaningful design and I loved wearing it. The fabric is lightweight and washes well, and dries very quickly. I’d say the sizes run on the smaller side but the fabric stretches and moves easily so there’s no need for the scrub top to be looser like a non-stretch one. Great quality Yarn!
