STORY - Irukandji

Irukandji also known as Yirrganydji, Irakanji, Yirkandji, Yirkanji or Yirgay are a very small, extremely venomous species of box jellyfish. Their name is related to the Yidinji and Djabugay languages of Cairns and the surrounding area. They are dangerous, however they form a vital part of the oceans ecosystem.
