Printed by our team right here in Meanjin, we are proud to support local jobs and training and to keep as much of our production as possible on shore. This bag is perfect for carrying everything you need for as long as you need it. Whether you're heading to the beach or running errands, this bag will do it all. Features sturdy cotton construction and long handles.

“This year's theme celebrates the unyielding spirit of our communities and invites all to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced. The fire represents the enduring strength and vitality of Indigenous cultures, passed down through generations despite the challenges faced.” - National NAIDOC Committee 2024

Fire Within

This year's theme “Keep the Fire Burning- Blak, Loud & Proud” asks us to listen to the fire within that ignites our instinctive protection of our history, culture and identity.

The voices that guide us from the dreaming, encouraging us to continue the fight our ancestors started for our survival. As we move through generation to generation, we keep that fire burning. We keep the conversation going, we keep marching, we keep forcing our way in for that seat at the table. For them, for us and those following our footsteps.

My artwork speaks to that fire within and how we use it to push for change, and our peoples' freedom.
