Chloe Little
Yorta Yorta and Yuin Woman
Chloe Little is a Yorta Yorta and Yuin artist whose work reflects her Aboriginal heritage and the rich cultural landscape of her ancestors. Currently living on Dharug land in the Hawkesbury region of New South Wales, Chloe’s art explores themes of identity, heritage, and the ongoing relationship between Aboriginal people and the land and waters.
Chloe’s work draws inspiration from traditional stories and symbols, reimagining them through contemporary mediums to foster a dialogue between past and present. Her art is not only a personal journey but also a way to celebrate and share the beauty of her cultures with the wider world. She aims to contribute to the conversation surrounding Aboriginal identity, with the intention of educating, inspiring, and empowering future generations.
Her practice embraces a blend of traditional techniques with modern expression, providing a unique lens through which to experience and understand the complex layers of Aboriginal culture. With each piece, Chloe continues to strengthen her connection to her ancestors while honouring the land and waters that have shaped her identity.
