Better World Arts
Our range of premium rugs that are bursting in colour will not disappoint you! We offer varieties of all different sizes and shapes. Each of our rugs is handmade with love using a technique called Gabba, which is a technique of cross-stitching, a traditional Kashmiri handicraft that provides an important contribution to the local community. Our beautiful rugs are made in regional locations as such and the income generated through this help supplement their income between harvests and other rural work.
100% Wool Rugs
Whether you choose to use these pieces as a floor covering or a wall hanging, they will take the look of your home to a whole new level. The wide variety of colour and patterns we offer allows so much room for you to match something specifically to the exact aesthetic you are aiming for in your home. This design is composed of wool and cotton canvas where the 100% wool designs are stitched onto a black cotton canvas. Uber soft to the touch, this composition also means they are lightweight in nature. Each of the designs features beautiful artworks by Indigenous artists. Click on “artwork story” below each product to discover amazing details about the stories they were inspired by.
Better World Arts who provide our rugs, is a member of Fair Traders of Australia, ensuring fair remunerations for everyone involved in the creation of these beautiful pieces.
