Yarn Raise x NBCF x Sacred Women's Way

This Pink Month, we’re proud to continue our partnership with National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), collaborating with Aboriginal Darug artist Mandy Draper to launch Sacred Women’s Way. Every piece sold helps fund life-saving breast cancer research, with $2 from each purchase donated towards a future of Zero Deaths.

We’re back in pink with a new goal of $15,000 for NBCF. Every purchase matters, your support makes a difference.

About this collection

Inspired by Mandy’s experience as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner focusing on cancer care, this collection goes beyond raising funds. Through her eyes, it honours the strength, unity, and resilience of women walking their breast cancer journeys, recognising the vital role women play in community, culture, and healing.

“The inspiration came from seeing how our Women come together in times of challenge, how we walk beside each other, sharing knowledge, holding space and uplift one another through love, courage and cultural connection.” - Mandy

Each piece in this collection is a reminder of the importance of women’s health. It encourages early detection, helps break down barriers of fear and shame, and strengthens support within families and communities.

“This is more than just art – it’s a visual story that carries the voices, strength, and resilience of our women. In my roles I’ve seen the importance of creating culturally safe and empowering spaces for our mob when it comes to cancer care. Sharing this artwork allows me to bring that vision to life to start conversations, connect with the community and inspire action around our health and wellbeing.” - Mandy
