STORY - Jumping Dolphins

Dolphins are known as ‘Boobanggan’ in Yuggera language, one of the language groups of the Brisbane region. What you may not know is that Dolphins are incredibly intelligent, they work with each other to catch fish and raise their young. Clans along the east coast such as the Yuggera and Gumbaynggirr peoples have a strong connection with dolphins, and are working hard to protect them through forming Indigenous Protected Areas.
