Each one was made for this cause by a First Nations woman with her own connection to it.
Zowie shaved her head alongside her best friend Kelly while Kelly went through breast cancer, then painted Boobie Sista in her honour. The circle in the centre is a meeting place. The shapes around it are the people who carry you through.
A path of healing and strength passed down through generations. Gathering circles for women's business, and footprints for the ground already walked.

Why we're raising funds
It can spread beyond the breast to the bones, liver, lungs or brain, which is exactly why early detection matters so much.

A mum, a sister, a friend from work, the woman who sat with her through it. Nearly everyone who buys one of these has someone in mind.
Every item from these three collections sends $2 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and pays a royalty to the artist. This October we're raising $15,000 for life-saving breast cancer research.
No. The $2 donation applies on these collections whenever they sell, all year round. The $15,000 goal and running total are specific to this October's campaign.
Yes. The royalty to the artist and the donation to NBCF are separate. One does not come out of the other.
No. Yarn licenses artwork from First Nations artists and pays a royalty on every sale. Every artist is named, with her Nation, on every product.
Yes. These artworks were made to be worn and shared. When someone asks where it came from, the answer is the artist's name and her Nation.
