All times are Queensland time (AEST). In New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT, add one hour during daylight saving.
Part A: Yarn First membership
A1. What Yarn First is. Yarn First is Yarn Marketplace's free text club. You become a member by joining through a Yarn First form (A2), or by already being subscribed to our marketing emails or texts. Only people who submit a Yarn First form are entered in the pack draws (B5). There is no cost to join.
A2. Joining. You join Yarn First by submitting a Yarn First form with your email address and mobile number. To enter, you tick the box on the form, which confirms you are 18 or over, want to enter the pack draws, and agree to receive Yarn's marketing emails and texts and to these terms. The box is never ticked for you. You can stop either at any time (A6).
A3. What members get. While they run, members:
- can enter the Yarn First Pack Draws, as set out in Part B;
- hear about our Black Friday sale events and First Price before anyone else, as set out in Parts C and D;
- if they have agreed to texts, receive announcements of our sale events by text first.
A4. What "text first" means. When we announce a Yarn sale event to members, we send the text announcement before we announce the same event by email or publish it on our website, unless something outside our reasonable control prevents it. A sale event means a named Yarn sale or members' offer.
A5. How often we text. Usually a few texts a month, and more during sale weeks. Texts come from the sender name "Yarn". They are free to receive in Australia.
A6. Stopping texts or emails. Tap the link in any text to stop texts, or use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop emails. We action every request within 5 business days, and usually straight away. If you stop both, you stop being a member and no longer hear about members' offers first. Any pack draw entries you have already made stay in (B5).
A7. Yarn Rewards is separate. Yarn First is not Yarn Rewards, our points program. Every order earns Yarn Rewards points whether or not you are a Yarn First member, and joining or leaving Yarn First never changes your points. Yarn Rewards points cannot be used on First Price (D5). Yarn Rewards has its own terms.
A8. Changes. We may change or end Yarn First by updating these terms at yarn.com.au/pages/yarn-first-terms. Any offer or draw already announced will run as announced.
A9. Privacy. We handle your personal information under our Privacy Policy at yarn.com.au/pages/privacy-policy. Clause B14 explains how we use it for the pack draws.
Part B: Yarn First Pack Draws
B1. Promotion. The Yarn First Pack Draws is a trade promotion run by the Promoter.
B2. Promotion period. From 10:00am Tuesday 13 October 2026 to 11:59pm on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
B3. Draws and entry periods. There are ten draws, one prize in each.

Every entry period opens at the start of the promotion period. An entry made after a draw's entry period has closed is entered only in the draws still open.
B4. Who can enter. Australian residents aged 18 or over, excluding residents of the Australian Capital Territory. Employees, officers and contractors of the Promoter, their immediate families, and employees of agencies and suppliers connected with this promotion, are not eligible.
B5. How you enter. You enter by submitting a Yarn First form during the promotion period with your email address and mobile number. A submitted form enters you in every draw whose entry period is still open at that time. Being subscribed to our marketing emails or texts before or during the promotion does not, on its own, enter you; existing subscribers enter in the same way as everyone else.
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Submitting the form means joining Yarn First and agreeing to receive our marketing emails and texts; you can unsubscribe from either at any time, and unsubscribing does not cancel entries you have already made. Submitting a form on the Yarn First hub or on any pack page has the same effect. An entry is made when the form is successfully submitted, as recorded by the Promoter's systems in Queensland time. Entries that are incomplete, or submitted outside the promotion period, are not valid.
B6. One entry per person per draw. Each eligible person has one entry in each draw, however many forms they submit or channels they subscribe to. We identify people by their email address and mobile number. Anyone who creates multiple identities, or uses automated or bulk entry methods, to gain extra entries will be disqualified.
B7. One prize per person. A person can win only one prize across the whole promotion. Once someone has won, they are excluded from later draws.
B8. The draw. Each draw takes place at 12 Breen Place, Morningside QLD 4170 at the time in B3, by computerised random selection from all valid entries for that draw. If the person drawn is not eligible, including because they live in the ACT, a further entry is drawn for that prize.
B9. Prizes. Ten prizes, one winner each, as set out in Schedules 1 to 10 at the end of this Part. Schedule numbers follow the draw order.

Total prize pool: up to $4,950.30 including GST, using the maximum value of each prize.
Prize values are the Promoter's recommended retail prices at the date these terms were published. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in value after that date.
B10. Choosing sizes and designs. Where a prize includes clothing, the winner chooses the designs and sizes from stock available at the time, within 14 days of being contacted. If the winner doesn't choose in that time, the Promoter will choose for them.
B11. Delivery. Prizes are delivered free to an Australian address within 30 days of the winner confirming their details and choices.
B12. Winners. We contact each winner by phone and email on the day of the draw, using the details given on entry, and make at least 3 attempts to reach them over 14 days. Before a prize is awarded, the winner may be asked for proof of identity, age and residential address; if they cannot provide it, or are found to be ineligible, the prize is forfeited and redrawn under B13. We publish the winner's first name and state at yarn.com.au/pages/black-friday and on that pack's page from 6:00pm on the day of the draw (or within 5 business days if the winner has not yet been reached), and keep them there for at least 28 days. We may also share the same first name and state on our social media accounts. By entering, you agree to this publication.
B13. Unclaimed prizes. If a winner can't be contacted, or hasn't claimed their prize by confirming their details, within 14 days of the draw, the prize is redrawn at 11:00am on Monday 30 November 2026 at the same place and in the same way, from the remaining valid entries for that draw. Redraw winners are contacted and published as in B12 and have 14 days from being contacted to claim. A prize that is still unclaimed after that is forfeited.
B14. Privacy. We collect your email address and mobile number to run Yarn First and this promotion, to contact and publish winners as set out in B12, and to send you our marketing emails and texts. If you tell us which packs interest you, we use that to send you more relevant offers. If you don't give us this information, you can't enter. Our service providers, including our email, text message and ecommerce platforms, may store or process your information in Australia and overseas, including the United States. Our Privacy Policy at yarn.com.au/pages/privacy-policy explains how to access or correct your information or make a complaint.
B15. General.
- Prizes are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are subject to availability. If a prize item becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute an item of equal or greater value.
- The Promoter may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, breaches these terms, or acts fraudulently.
- If the promotion can't run as planned because of something outside the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may modify, suspend or end it, subject to any direction from a state regulator.
- Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, the Promoter is not liable for loss arising from the promotion or any prize, except loss caused by its negligence or breach of these terms.
- Winners may need to pay tax on a prize and should seek their own advice.
- This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta (Facebook or Instagram), Google or any other platform. Entrants release those platforms from any liability in connection with the promotion.
- Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or incomplete because of a technical fault outside its reasonable control.
- If there is any inconsistency between these terms and any advertising for the promotion, these terms prevail.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland.
Schedules to Part B: the ten packs
Each Schedule forms part of these terms. Where a Schedule says "winner's choice", the choice is from designs and sizes in stock when the winner is contacted, made within 14 days (B10). Values are full recommended retail prices.

Part C: Members hear first
C1. What it is. Yarn First members hear about each of our major Black Friday sale events before anyone else. The sale prices go live for everyone at yarn.com.au at the time we announce, usually 6:00pm; members are told first, by text and then by email, before we announce the event anywhere else.
C2. Who it is for. Yarn First members, as defined in Part A. Anyone who joins before an announcement receives it.
C3. The offer. The full offer for each event, including what is included and when it ends, is published at yarn.com.au when the prices go live.
C4. Exclusions. Yarn Raise, personalised items, new arrivals, gift cards and Yarn Corp orders, unless an offer says otherwise.
C5. Other offers. Sale prices cannot be combined with other discount codes unless we say otherwise.
C6. Stock. While stocks last. No rainchecks.
C7. Prices. Any "was" or comparison price shown is a price at which the item was genuinely offered for sale for a reasonable period before the offer. If a price is displayed in error, we will let you know before your order is processed and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling.
C8. Draw-night offers. On each draw night from 3 to 11 November 2026 we may run a public "Tonight Only" offer on a range related to that night's pack, from 6:00pm to 11:59pm AEST. These offers are open to everyone, not only members, and are described on the pack page and the hub while they run. Clauses C4, C6, C7 and C9 apply to them.
C9. Returns. Our standard returns policy at yarn.com.au/pages/returns applies. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Part D: First Price
D1. What First Price is. A members-first offer on one product category, at one flat price, for 24 hours. There are two First Price events in November 2026. We announce their dates on Thursday 12 November 2026. We announce each event's category, price and range to members from 6:00pm the evening before it starts, by text first and then by email and at yarn.com.au/pages/black-friday.
D2. Who it is for. First Price is announced to Yarn First members first, by text and then by email, in every state and territory, including the ACT. The price is available to anyone who shops during the event; members hear about it first.
D3. "Lowest price of the year." When we describe a First Price as the lowest price of the year, it means the price is equal to or lower than the lowest price at which we offered the same products to the public in the 12 months before the event.
D4. First Price notices. The details of each First Price event (when it runs, the price, the range and any limit) are set out in a First Price notice added to these terms when the event is announced. Each notice forms part of these terms.
D5. For every event. First Price replaces any other price on that category during its window, and cannot be combined with other discount codes or offers. While stocks last; no rainchecks. Clauses C4, C7 and C9 also apply.
