Majardi is a belt or tassel made of spun hair or fur worn during traditional ceremonies. This string is then incorporated into a ‘majardi’ (skirts) or tassels to be worn by women or men during ceremonies. This painting connects with the ancestral women of Mina Mina. As they travelled over their country they wore ‘majardi’ performing dances and ceremonies.

Great colour and design

I have a big head and it fits very well. It has a velcro closing. Love the colours and the story behind the design. The manufacture is a little careless, lacks a bit of attention to detail but nothing really visible or that will affect its use.
