This work is produced in remote villages and provides an important supplementary income between harvests and other rural work.

These cushion covers feature a plain black cotton canvas lining and secure zip closure.

A group of women of all ages travelled to the east gathering food, collecting 'ngalyipi' (snake vine) and performing ceremonies as they travelled. The wavy lines represent the snake vine, the 'u' shapes the women, the circular shapes are edible mushrooms the women collect on their travels and the two straight lines in the middle represent digging sticks.
