Brighten up your living room with these beautiful pure wool cushions. They are handcrafted using a technique called Gabba. The ancient technique of chain-stitches a traditional Kashmiri handicraft is important to the local economy. This work is produced in remote villages and provides an important supplementary income between harvests and other rural work. 

These cushion covers feature a plain black cotton canvas lining and secure zip closure.

During Ceremony on the Tiwi Islands a series of "Yoi", dances are performed, some are totemic (matrilineal) and others act out newly composed songs. Participants are painted with turtiyanginari (natural ochres) transforming the dancers and protecting them against mapurtiti (spirits). These designs are collectively called Jilamara.

Aboriginal designed wool cushion cover

I really like the texture of wool for the cushion covers because it's not like just getting a material covered cushion - the high quality wool means that this cover will last forever. I've never owned wool cushion covers before - especially Aboriginal designed covers, they are just beautiful and yes i do plan on getting more. Thank you YARN Team you are too Deadly :) Vicki B
