Cinnamon Myrtle (Backhousia myrtifolia) is a native rainforest plant found in subtropical areas of NSW and QLD. The leaves when crushed have a cinnamon-like fragrance, but have a more subtle flavour with an earthy and warm nature to it.
Uses: My Dilly Bags Cinnamon Myrtle Flakes can be added to pastries, sweet, spice blends sweet or savoury.
