Brighten up your living room with these beautiful pure wool cushions. They are handcrafted using a technique called Gabba. The ancient technique of chain-stitches a traditional Kashmiri handicraft is important to the local economy. This work is produced in remote villages and provides an important supplementary income between harvests and other rural work.

These cushion covers feature a plain black cotton canvas lining and secure zip closure.

Please note: This product is handmade so the artwork may differ slightly from the images.

Product: Cushion Cover Wool 16in (40cm)
Materials: 100% wool outer and cotton canvas lining
Dimensions: 40cm X 40cm
Artist: Karen Barnes

Karen's representation of finches reflects her passion for the wildlife around her home country, Yuendumu. Karen captures colour and life in this arid landscape. Nothing about local animals escapes her keen eye. Karen has painted a lot of Jukurrpa (Dreaming stories) in the past but is now very focused on wildlife.
